Hybrid: Mattel Lea – Cali Girl /2003 C6465 (Nude, Restyled Flocked Hair, Rebodied Integrity Ru Paul Basic)
NUDE, REBODIED, CUSTOM HAIR. Mattel Lea from the 2005-era Cali Girls line, is rebodied on Integrity Ru Paul basic body with articulation in neck, shoulders, waist, and hips. She has dark brown acrylic yarn flocking applied with water-proof glue to hair stubble remaining after original hair was cut off close to scalp. She comes with large removable silver-tone hoop earrings. This doll has a lovely face sculpt and would be a good candidate for further customization. See NOTE in description below.
Description
NOTE: This doll may be able to wear wigs if the wig cap is flexible and large enough to encompass her flocked head. The head was salvaged from a doll lot and has had rudimentary refurbishment. She has a couple faint scratches on right portion of forehead close to hairline. These may be removable with fine nail buffing sponge, followed by a wipe-down with acetone or alcohol and wash-off with soapy water and rinse water. (Take care not to apply acetone or other solvents to face paint or body). She has a couple faint spots on her right elbow and upper arm. These may be removed with 10% benzoyle peroxide cream (for acne treatment) applied in a dollop and left on affected spot under UV or LED light for a couple days. Reapply and re-treat as needed till spots disappear.
