This super-cute doll has been rebodied on a fairly close color-matched high-end “super model” clone/replacement body (face is a little darker) with proportions similar to Mizi or modern Fashion Royalty – specifically Meteor dolls. - OVERSHIRT JACKET – From a My Scene doll, the sturdy black chiffon-like texture material has subtle white pinstripes, satin-taffeta black lapels, and a satin-taffeta ruffle-trimmed hemline with longer shirt tails that can be tied in front. (Long sleeves are three-quarter length on taller dolls.)
- TEE SHIRT – The cropped white stretch short-sleeve tee-shirt gives a snug fit with back Velcro-type closure.

- PANTYHOSE – These lightweight super-stretch black smooth-knit pantyhose have a middle inseam and can fit a variety of dolls.
- SHOES – Mimi Woo brand front-tongue lace-up red faux suede short boots with white faux fur cuffs and hard rubber-like black chunk high heel soles will fit a variety of dolls. (Recommend slightly loosening – not fully unlacing – the top-to-middle laces to put on or remove boots. A small screw driver or bent needle nose pliers or bent tweezers or a toothpick can be used to loosen the individual lacings.)
- BAG – R&D Susie brand loop-handle oversize round zipper travel bag is constructed of black vinyl with red stencil pictures – stylized Susie portrait on one side, and stylized fashion-figure silhouettes on the other side.
- CHOKER RIBBON – The black ribbon tied in a bow around the doll’s neck gives a coquettish personalized flair. (Ribbon in tied state was placed on doll during the rebodying process and is considered non-removable due to the high improbability of retying it once it is untied.)

The extremely delicate shoes show some wear but are still serviceable. A toothpick may be used to lift up the outer toe strap if inserting the foot proves difficult. It is recommended that the ankle strap be slipped on over the middle of foot without undoing the buckled straps, and then insert the foot into the toe straps before sliding the buckled ankle strap over the heel of the foot.

DRESSED. This Integrity Toys representation of Lana Turner, the Hollywood “golden age” MGM studio movie actress who rose to fame in the 1940s and 50s, is a stunning lady with short golden blonde hair in original vintage factory style, heavily gelled to stay in place. She is like new, out of the box, on her original “wasp waist” Japan tone tall body, with pale blue eyes and applied lashes in fairly good shape. Admittedly, this doll is not a perfect likeness of Ms. Turner when compared to commonly available photos of the actress. However, with her serene expression, this doll expertly channels reserved Hollywood royalty – and, not to diminish Ms. Turner, we dare to say this doll seems more beautiful and sophisticated than the actress herself in her prime.
Mini Lana comes wearing a pair of tiny stud “diamond earrings. Also included is the sublimely elegant pale mint green satin floor-length mermaid gown she’s modeling, from the Barbie Hollywood Movie Stars “Between Takes” doll by Mattel. The gown features a lavish back train, front pleated chiffon inset at the knees, and large serge-hemmed train of chiffon split and secured at the back of the waist to form twin bundled swaths positioned under each arm, going up over the chest area, and secured just below the neck with a gold detailed brooch/medallion. Twin necklace-like triple strands of tiny white faux pearls, attached to the medallion/brooch, create halter straps that fasten at the back of the neck with an “S” hook and loop. REDRESSED, RESTYLED. Integrity introduced the Monogram series of fashion dolls in 2009, and offered them through 2013. These dolls featured the modern version of the body used for Dynamite Girls (like Poppy Parker but with different removable hands and high-heel feet), retro stylized face sculpts, and a range of clothing from sweet and simple to upscale sophisticated.
This doll, Monogram “Inspiration,” originally came with her auburn hair pulled up in a bun, wearing a belted pale aqua lacy gown with a cascading waterfall hemline. She’s had her updo taken down, washed, and trimmed to even up ends, resulting in a shoulder-length straight style with a slight flip on the ends. (Rooting is sparse in back due to doll being originally styled with an updo, but the straight style nicely covers the scalp, so no worries.)
She comes with the complete outfit and accessories from Mattel’s Barbie City Seasons line, “Autumn in Paris” (1998 / 19367). This outfit includes the following items:
- HAT – Burgundy velveteen tam has an elastic inner edge with the front decorated with a square gold filigree-stamped medallion holding secure a decorative feather. (Hat tends to slide up on loose hair, so it is secured with an included bead-tip straight pin inserted into doll’s head.)
- JACKET – Cotton-blend burgundy and light brown plaid peplum jacket has burgundy velveteen collar, cuffs, and faux pocket flaps all trimmed in gold braiding. Sleeves are fitted for a standard 11.5″ doll, so they will appear three-quarter-length on taller dolls like Monogram. Tiny round metallic gold buttons are adhered to the front opening, with hidden snap closures underneath. (Two back vent slits may have been designed to accommodate a waist-grip doll stand – or a slide-through belt that was never part of the original outfit.)
- SKIRT – Burgundy velveteen pencil midi skirt snaps in back and has a back walking flap. It fits this doll perfectly.
- SCARF – The brown/tan silk moire-like braided fringe scarf has a loop-wrapped look sewn in place to be slipped over the doll’s head and easily positioned on the shoulders.
- BOOTS – Soft flex vinyl mid-calf boots in medium warm brown slip on without a back slit and have molded-in front lacing details with chunk heels. These boots are roomy enough to fit a variety of dolls with feet larger than a standard Barbie.
- CANE – A stylish old-fashioned walking stick with molded grooves gives the impression of rich wood with a gold metallic finial ball handle. (There’s no hook or other mechanism to allow the doll to hold the walking stick, so a clear rubber band has been applied to keep the walking stick adhered to the doll’s hand to give the illusion of holding it. The rubber band is included.)
- JEWELRY – The large teardrop “diamond” earrings are mounted on metal posts that insert into small ear holes typically found on high-end fashion dolls like Silkstone and Integrity. These earrings will not stay put on dolls with large ear holes meant for factory-injected plastic earrings. These earrings are added to the outfit and not original to the doll.
